The 1973 Topps Montreal Expos Team Set has 25 cards.  The 1973 season could (should) have been the year of Expos.  On September 17th, they would their sixth game in a row and were one game behind the Pirates in the N.L. East.  With 15 games left and 7 of the last 10 againest the Pirates, anything could happen.  Only in their fifth season, no expansion team was in this late in the season.  Of course, it was not meant to be.
The 1973 Topps Baseball Card Set decided to feature the all of multi-player rookie cards by position for the first time.  In the past the multi-player rookies usually featured two or three players from the same team.  To make these cards even more expensive for today's collector, Topps waited until 7th Series to issue these ugly, yet expensive cards.  As a result, the 1973 Topps multi-player rookie cards are not considered part of 1973 Topps Team Sets.  These rookie cards can be purchased individually on our site.
