The 1952 Bowman U.S. Presidents set features cards of all 33 of the presidents and 3 cards depicting historical events. The 3 additional cards were added so that Bowman could fill up the 36-card printing sheet. This set was reissued, with a slight design change on the back, when Topps purchased Bowman in 1956. The cards from 1952 have black print on the blacks and the 1956 set features blue print.
