This 1970 Topps Scratch Off Complete Set contains all 24 of the unnumbered folded cardboard inserts. Each scratch-off measures 3 3/8 by 5 when unfolded, and were issued as inserts with the early series of 1970 Topps Baseball Cards. These inserts were popular with us kids, as we could play a game of baseball by rubbing off the black ink with a coin.
The 1970 Topps Scratch Off game cards contain the players from all 24 teams, with the player's name and title of Team Captain. The problem was that many of these players were not actually the captain of their respective teams. This has always seemed like such a senseless error, as the title of Team Captain did little to enhance the card or the game.
