1978 Topps -79 Hockey Complete Set (In Box) 7 - NM

This is a 1978-79 Topps Hockey Complete Set.  This set contains 264 cards.  The 1978-79 Topps Hockey Complete Set include Hall-of-Fame players such as Darryl Sittler, Stan Mikita, and Guy Lafleur.

Complete sets from Dean’s Cards are organized in three different ways:

1)  (In Box) which means the set has actual scans of a few major star players.

2)  (In Binder) indicates that the complete set comes in a binder with 9-page binder pages.  The (In Binder) sets are available as they are acquired from personal collections.

3)  If the set is listed with neither of these designations, then the set is built virtually from our million card inventory.  The cards are individually graded, and front and back scans are provided.  These sets are usually priced a bit higher than the sets in box and in binder due to the labor involved.

This 1978-79 Topps Hockey complete set grades in 7.0 Near Mint overall condition. Most individual cards grade between 6.0 EXMT - 7.0 NM with a few grading higher and perhaps a handful lower. No major flaws are present such as creasing, marked cards (including team cards, checklists), etc. Cards appear to have been put together through vending cases and are of very consistent quality throughout. Centering does vary, but appears to be representative of the set's factory production year. As with any large set, expect some individual cards to grade higher and some lower than the overall set grade. This vintage set that will make a great addition to any sports card collection.
