The 1968 Topps Poster Near Complete Set contains the majority of the 24 different 10" by 18" posters, featuring full-color pictures on the front and blank backs, printed on thin paper. Of the 24 players depicted, 12 are in the Hall of Fame. The 1968 Topps Posters have fold lines, as they were inserts in the 1968 Topps wax packs, which is not considered during the grading process.
These posters were not released as an inset set, but on their own as it was meant to capitalize on the trend of children having posters of sports players on their walls. For the exact posters contained in this set, as well as a front and back scans, please see the description below.
This almost complete set contains 14 cards out of the possible 24 cards. This is not a complete set.
