The 1962 Salada-Junket Coins set consists of 221 different Major League players depicted on 265 plastic coins, each 1 3/8" in diameter. This coin set was distributed in packages of Salada Tea and Junket Pudding Mix, originally consisting of 180 coins total.
Each coin displays a colored paper portrait of the player inserted into the plastic-rimmed coin with the coin number, team name, player's name, and position to the right. These coins were produced in six different colors of plastic.
This near complete set contains no duplicate coins.
Purchased separately the cards in this set have a break-up value of $6,721.00.
