This 1979-80 Topps Hockey Complete Set contains 263 / 264 cards from this set, and contains one of the greatest modern hockey cards of all time - the Wayne Gretzky card, which holds the bulk of the value in this set. These cards were also a departure from the traditional white border hockey cards, and contain a bright blue border.
This set excludes the Gretzky card, in order to keep the cost of the set more reasonable, and his card may be added to any collection as a collector's budget allows.
This set also contains the final card for some of the greatest players in the game including Gordie Howe and Bully Hull.
This card has been omitted in order to keep the cost of the set down: #18 Wayne Gretzky
