The 1976 Topps Baseball Set contains 660 cards. The front of each card features a color photo of the player with his name and team on a colored border along the bottom of the card. This set is one of the few years to feature live-action shots instead of still photos. Sub-series for this set include: Record Breakers (1-6), Father and Son (66-70), League Leaders (191-205), All Time All Stars (341-350), Post Season (461,462), and Rookie Prospects (589-599). This set also includes the 43 card traded series.
The All Time All Stars series features players such as Ruth, Cobb, Gehrig, Williams, Wagner, Cochrane, Traynor, Gehrig, Hornsby, and more.
This set is loaded with Hall-of-Famers including: Aaron, Seaver, Brock, Brett, Perry, B. Also included with this set is the 1976 Topps Traded set. The 1976 Topps Traded set contains 43 cards and an unnumbered checklist. The set features 43 players traded after the regular set was printed. The front of each card features a photo of the player with a Sports Extra footer listing the team and date of the trade. The card backs give the trade details in newspaper format. Each player's card number corresponds to his card number in the 1976 Topps regular set with a T following the number.

3) If the set is listed with neither of these designations, then the set is built virtually from our million card inventory. The cards are individually graded, and front and back scans are provided. These sets are usually priced a bit higher than the sets in box and in binder due to the labor involved.

This 1976 Topps Baseball complete set has been assigned an overall grade of 4 - VG/EX condition. Approximately 80% of the individual cards grade between 3.0 VG to 4.0 VGEX. Of the remaining cards expect 10-15% to technically grade lower than 3.0 VG and about 5-10% better than 4.0 VGEX. Some of the team cards have been marked with these cards grading in the 1.5 FR range due to the MK qualifier. While the set presents well, expect cards to show wear consistent with overall set grade including edge/corner wear and some creases or paper wrinkles. Centering does vary. Expect some cards to be o/c. The set comes displayed in an attractive binder 18 cards to a page. The set has been sorted by teams and is not in numerical order. Please keep in mind overall set grades are a collective estimate and are not meant to represent the exact grade of each individual card. As with any large set, expect some individual cards to grade higher and some lower than the overall set grade. This is an affordable mid-grade set that will make a great addition to any sports card collection.
