The 1966 Marvel Super Hero set contains 66 cards, each measuring 2 1/2" by 3 1/2". Produced by Donruss, the cards are referred to by the caption that appears inside the a white bubble on each card. There are 14 cards in the 1966 Marvel Super Hero set without a caption inside the bubble, and the invitation to "Write Your Own" - and many kids accepted that challenge. For this reason, the "Write Your Own Caption" cards are much harder to find in pristine grades.
