This 1954 Dan Dee Potato Chip Baseball Card Complete Set features cards that were distributed in bags of potato chips. The cards were inserted directly into the bags with no protection, which makes these cards very hard to find in high grades.
The 1954 Dan Dee Baseball Cards are unnumbered, measure approximately 2 1/2" x 3 5/8," and feature a depiction of the player. The 29 card set depicts players from the Cleveland Indians, Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Yankees, Brooklyn Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals and New York Giants. Walker Cooper, Paul Smith and Frank Thomas were short printed.
