The 1948 Bowman cards are 2 1/16" by 2" in size and feature feature a black & white photo This was Bowman's first national issue, after the war and it has some interesting curiosities. Over a half of the 1948 Bowman Baseball cards feature players from one of the New York area based teams, and since it was the first baseball issue in seven years, so every card is a rookie card.
