Being the only football card set issued that year, the 1949 Leaf football cards were issued in two different series. The cards contain numbers ranging from #1 to #150. Sold in nickel packs that contained 5 cards and a stick of gum, the 1949 Leaf cards used grey card stock and stated "Copyright 1949" on the backs of the cards.
Purchased separately the cards in this set have a break-up value of $7,841.00.
This almost complete set contains 44 cards out of the possible 49 cards. This is not a complete set.This set does not include the following cards: #39 Jim White, #150 Bulldog Turner, #79 Steve Van Buren, #118 Fred Davis, #22 Bill Dudley
