The 1937 Dick Tracy (R41) Almost Complete Set contains nearly all of the cards from this set. These cards were issued by the Walter H. Johnson Candy Co., located in Chicago, Ill. The set contains 144 cards that were sold in packs of Dick Tracy Caramels. Cards measure 2 3/8" x 2 7/8" and have framed color fronts with card number and scene title below. The card backs contain episode number and title, along with a detailed storyline. In the 1980's there was a major find of mint condition cards for #'s 121-144, which greatly lowered the price for that sequence of cards.
