The\r\n1961 Topps set is comprised of 587 cards. The front of each 1961 Topps baseball card contains a color photograph of the player with the player's name, position,\r\nand team at the bottom of the card. The reverse features the player's\r\nbiographical information and statistical history.
For\r\nthe first time, Topps included a sub-series called "League Leaders"\r\nand also included separate numbered check lists. Other sub series in the 1961 Topps set\r\nare: World Series Cards, Baseball Thrills, MVP's of the 1950's, and Sporting\r\nNews All-Stars.
