1952 Topps Look 'n See
The 1952 Topps Look 'n See card set consists of 135 colorful cards of historical figures, measuring 2½" by 3-1/8". This is one Topps last sets using the smaller sized cards. The 1952 Topps Look 'n See set starts out in subsets: Presidents (1-9), Famous Americans (10-31), Military Leaders (32-42), and Famous Women (43-46). After these, the cards were not organized into groups and featured various famous leaders, aviators, scientists, pirates, explorers, inventors, and other miscellous people.
The 1952 Toops Look 'n See cards were issued in two series; 1-75 and 76-154 and is sprinkled with both short-printed and double-printed cards, due to the odd number of cards. The Look 'n See cards tend to be more condition sensative than most sets, due to production issues. The 1952 Topps Look 'n See cards have always been amoung my favorite non-sports cards, because of the colorful drawings and little known historical figures.
