Pete Kozma

Peter Michael Kozma (born April 11, 1988) is an American professional baseball infielder for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Cardinals selected him in the first round of the 2007 amateur draft from Owasso High School in Oklahoma, and he made his MLB debut for them on May 18, 2011. He is 6 feet 0 inches (1.83 m), weighs 170 pounds (77 kg), and bats and throws right-handed.

A sure-handed defender with excellent range and throwing arm, Kozma primarily plays shortstop. In the 2012 National League Division Series against the Washington Nationals, his hit in the deciding game drove in the go-ahead run and allowed the Cardinals to advance to the National League Championship Series.
