1953 Johnstons Cookies

The 1953 Johnston Cookies Baseball Card Set consists of only Milwaukee Braves players and was issued after the Braves moved from Boston for the team's first season in Milwaukee. The set features 25 cards and that measure 2 9/16" by 3 5/8". The cards feature colorized images made from black-and-white player photos. One 1953 Johnston Cookies baseball card came in each box of Pops cookies, and if the fan did not feel like eating his weight in cookies, complete sets could be ordered by mail.
