1964 Topps Coins
The 1964 Topps Coins Set consists of 164 coins, which measure 1 ½” in diameter, These tin coins feature full color photos, along with the player's name, team and position. A coin was inserted in each five-cent pack, and two coins in ten-cent cello packs, for the 3rd, 4th & 5th series of 1964 Topps baseball card set.
The All-Star subset, beginning with coin #121, contains the 3 variations found in the 1964 Topps Coins Set. Mickey Mantle's #131 All-Star coin has versions of him batting both right-handed and left-handed. The All-Star coins #161 Wayne Causey and #162 Chuck Hinton were originally mislabeled as "N.L. All-Stars", but later coins corrected this mistake.
