1965 Civil War News A & BC England
The 1965 Civil War News A & BC England edition are nearly identical to the American originals that were issued in 1962. The only real difference is that the English version of the cards are slightly smaller, which they thought was more efficient, and the 1962 American version came packaged with Civil War Currency, while this set did not.
Initially, Len Brown, one of the creators behind the American Civil War News set, thought that the cards would be a flop overseas. Much to his surprise, the cards became quite popular and created a name for themselves all over the United Kingdom.
