1927 Middy Bread Reprints
The 1927 Middy Bread Baseball Card set is one of the most unusual reprint sets ever issued. The 1927 Middy Bread baseball cards consist of photographs of the original cards, which were 2 ¼” x 4” black and white cutouts of the St. Louis Browns and St. Louis Cardinals. This reprint set was issued in 1992 and measures 2 ½” x 3 ½”. Both sets have blank backs and an advertisement for Middy Bread on the front. The original cards can cost up to $600 each in Near Mint condition and is very difficult to find.
