1973 Topps Blue Team Checklist
The 1973 Topps Blue Team Checklists were issued for all 24 major-league teams. The blue-bordered cards are unnumbered and measure 2 ½” by 3 ½”. The fronts have facsimile autographs of the players, while the card backs feature a checklist of the players on the team along with their 1973 Topps card numbers.
The cards were included as as inserts in the packs of the 1973 Topps high number series. For that reason, the number of these cards in circulation today are limited, and much harder to find than the Red Team Checklists that were issued the following year. The 1973 Topps Red Team Checklists are sometimes confused with a set, issued by O-Pee-Chee, with identical card fronts, but can be distinguishable by their bilingual card backs.
