1977 Topps Cloth Stickers
The 1977 Topps Cloth Stickers Set consists of 55 cloth stickers and 18 unnumbered puzzle cards, all which measure 2½" by 3½". The fronts of the puzzles combine to form separate pictures of the 1976 NL & AL All-Star Teams, while each of the puzzle cards has a checklist on the back The only Rookie Card in the 1977 Topps Cloth Stickers Set is #15 Mark Fidrych, who also debuted on a regular Topps card.
Released as a "test issue", the images used on the 1977 Topps Cloth Stickers are almost identical to the player's regular Topps card, with some slight cropping differences. The notable exceptions are the stickers of :#37 Tony Perez and #55 Richie Zisk, who were traded during the off-season. The regular 1977 Topps set has them in previous team's uniforms, while their 1977 Topps Cloth Stickers, was released late enough to feature portraits of them, in airbrushed uniforms of their new teams.
