2009 Topps Update Baseball Cards
The 2009 Topps Update Set consists of 330 cards with an additional 25 variations that feature baseball's best players. The cards feature a photograph of the player in game action and are surrounded by a white border. The back of the cards features biographical information about the player.
The 2009 Topps Update set is loaded with rookies who recieved their highly anticipated call to the big leagues during the 2009 season - most notably, #UH114 Chris Coghlan, #UH155 Andrew McCutchen, #UH220 Matt LaPorta, #UH278 Gaby Sanchez.
The 2009 Topps Update set also includes current veterns of the major leagues as well as variation cards that feature retired greats of the game. Most notable is card #UH330a Ken Griffey Jr., which has two variations, #UH330b Babe Ruth in Braves, and #UH330c Babe Ruth Red Sox.
