1978 Kelloggs

The 1978 Kellogg’s 3D set marks the first year in which the set features a Tony the Tiger drawing next to both the team and MLB logos. This was where a miniature portrait of the player was located in previous years. The 1978 set features an Eddie Murray card, one of the few Murray cards issued in 1978. 1978 marks the year of Murray’s Topps Rookie Card. As in the past, cards in the Kellogg’s 1978 collection are 2 1/8” by 3 ¼” in size, and could be obtained either card by card in cereal boxes or as a set via mail-in offer.
