The 1938 Goudey Heads-Up Baseball Card Set (R323) consists of 48 cards and was produced by the Goudey Gum Company of Boston. Although the set consists of 48 cards, the 1938 Heads-Up depicts 24 players as subjects. The first 24 cards of the 1938 Goudey Heads-Up set (#241 to #264) have plain backgrounds, whereas the higher numbered (#265 to #288) cards feature the same player image, but also include background art.
