1929 W553 Baseball Cards
The 1929 W553 is a unique W card set as these cards were distributed with gum, even though they were in strips. They are unique among strip cards in that these cards feature actual photographs of the players, instead of the cartoon like drawings normally seen portraying players on other W card sets.
While the 1929 W553 set is considered to have 15 cards total, there is uncertainty that 5 cards actually exist, so this set is considered complete with the Lu Blue, Jimmie Foxx, Rabbit Maranville, Bing Miller, and Pie Traynor cards. Even due to the small size of this set, it can be nearly impossible to assemble a complete set due to the rarity of these cards.
