1930 W554 Baseball Cards

The 1930 W554 cards are much larger than a standard strip card set from this era, as each card is 5" x 7" and contains many images of players similar to their 1929 R316 Kashin Photo card.  There are two types of these cards, with Type 1 cards having a brown, or sepia tone, and the Type 2 cards being black and white.  Due to their age, and wear, and possible natural discoloration, it can be very hard to differentiate between the two types.

While the 1930 W554 cards are traditionally seen with a blank back, collectors can find these cards with advertisements printed, or even stamped on the back. Due to their relative scarcity, these cards hold more value than the standards cards.
