1939 True Spy Stories

The True Spy Story cards are a unique set of non-sports cards that describe true acts of espionage from U.S. history up through 1939, and was produced by the Gunmakers of America. The cards have colorful illustrations of the scene on the front side, while the back has a description about the event or person.  The first sentence on each card reads: "This is a TRUE SPY STORY.  The names of some of the characters have been changed in order to not embarrass the government."
