1947 Goudey Indian Gum
The 1947 Goudey Indian Gum card set was Goudey's final trading card issue. This 96 card set (R773) is actually a re-issue of the cards from the 216 card 1933 Indian Gum set (R73). Like those in the 1933 set, cards in the 1947 Goudey Indian Gum set measure 2 3/8” by 2 7/8” and feature identical images and card titles.
The only noticeable difference that sets the 1947 set apart from its 1933 counterpart appears on the reverse of each card. The 1933 set had card backs printed in green ink, while the backs of the 1947 cards were printed in black ink.
