1971 Kelloggs Football Cards
The 1971 Kelloggs Football Card Set consists of 60 cards, each measuring 2 1/4" by 3 1/2" in size. These 3D cards were found in boxes of Kelloggs cereal. The 1971 Kelloggs football cards can easily be distinguished from the cards from the previous season, as the card fronts have a blue inner border and the player's name is located in a red football helmet in the upper right hand corner.
The 1971 Kelloggs Football Card Set was the second, and also the final year of Kellogg's 3D football cards and after this issue Kellogg's stuck to only baseball cards, until they printed one more year of football in 1982. Unlike the Kelloggs football cards of the previous season, the 1971 Kelloggs football cards could not be ordered as a complete set, making the cards much harder to find and expensive to buy today.
