1948 Blue Tint Baseball Cards
The 1948 R346 Blue Tint (R346) Baseball Card set consists of 48 hand-cut cards. Printed on 8 card sheets, each card is approximately 2" by 2 5/8" in size. The set is printed primarily using blue ink, but were also printed using black ink only on cards #25 through #48. Variations appear throughout the set. Several cards #25-48 may have been short printed or are just simply harder to find. The 1948 R346 Blue Tint Baseball Card set is very condition sensitive.
The key star cards in the 1948 R346 Blue Tint Baseball Card set are #16 Joe DiMaggio, #20 Warren Spahn, #29 Lou Gehrig, #36 Jackie Robinson and #44 Ted Williams. A total of 15 Hall-of-Fame players appear in the set.
