The 1910 T209 Contentnea First Series contains 16 cards, which feature minor league players from the Carolina Association, Eastern Carolina League and the Virginia League. The Series 1 cards, also known as T209-1, are 1 9/16" by 2 11/16" in size. They were produced in smaller numbers than the black and white cards of the 2nd series.
The easiest way to identify cards the T209-1 Contentnea cards, is that they have the words "First Series" printed on the top of their backs. The scarcest of the T209 Series 1 cards are Sisson, Martin, Lane, Booles, and Pope, while the other cards such as Crockett and Walsh are much more common.
