1973 Topps Candy Lids
The 1973 Topps Candy Lids set contains 55 un-numbered lids that are nearly 2 inches in diameter. These lids came atop something called Baseball Stars Bubble Gum, with the undersize of each lid featuring popular players of the era. Despite it's small size, this set contains 20 Hall of Fame players. These 1973 Topps Candy Lids can be very hard to find in high grades due to typically off centering.
There was also a Test Issue of lids without the colored border. These proofs are far less common and carry a higher value.
