1965 Topps Football Cards
The 1965 Topps Football Card Set includes 176 oversized cards, which measure 2½" by 4 11/16". The 1965 Topps "tall boys" are organized the players by team, and then alphabetically. This set does not include team cards, but does have two checklists.
These cards can be harder to find in high grades due to two different factors. First off the larger than average size of the card allows for more wear and tear of the corners, and the bright colored background against a stark white border makes any centering issues even more pronounced than cards from other years.
The 1965 Topps Football rookie cards include the iconic #122 Joe Namath card, which often makes up over half of the set's value, and also #133 Fred Biletnikoff.
