1958-59 Parkhurst
The 1958-59 Parkhurst Hockey Card Set contains 50 cards that only features players from the Montreal Canadians and the Toronto Maple Leafs. The cards depict the players in color against a white background. The cards are numbered on the front of the card. The front of the card also includes the player's name and team logo in a yellow rectangle on the bottom of the card. The backs of the 1958-59 Parkhurst cards include biographical and statistical information on the back of the card in Canada's two native languages, French and English, printed in black.
Despite only featuring two teams, this set includes many star players, including, Maurice Richard, Tim Horton, Charlie Hodge, Frank Mahovlich, Jacques Plante. The key rookie card in this set is Ralph Backstrom.
