1972-73 O-Pee-Chee Hockey
The 1972-73 season was the debut of two new teams: the Atlanta Flames and the New York Islanders, which allowed for the largest OPC hockey set yet. The 1972-73 O-Pee-Chee set contains 341 cards issued in four series, with the fourth (290-341) featuring players from the newly-created WHA. The 1972-73 O-Pee-Chee Hockey subsets include In Action cards, six playoff cards, first team All-Stars (226-230).
The 1972-73 O-Pee-Chee set does not contain any rookie cards of future Hall-of-Famers.
