This is a 1962 Topps Philadelphia Phillies Near Team Set. The Phillies finished the season in seventh place in the National League with a record of 81-80, a dramatic improvement over the 47-107 mark of the previous season. Gene Mauch managed the Phillies, who played their home games at Connie Mack Stadium.
In order to keep the cost of this set down, the high number cards are not included. The missing cards include: #534 Tony Gonzalez, #550 Art Mahaffey, #571 Billy Klaus, and #581 Mel Roach.
