This 1961 Detroit Tigers Team Set has the Topps cards of the 1961 Tigers. A team that was loaded in talent and showed it by winning 101 games to finish 2nd behind the Yankees. In order to keep the cost of this set down, this 1961 Detriot Tigers Team Set has the following high number cards removed: #544 George Thomas, #553 Bill Fischer and the #580 Al Kaline All-Star card. Also removed is the #44 AL HR Leaders - Featuring Rocky Colavito. This card is expensive because Mickey Mantle And Roger Maris are also on it.
