The 1970 Fleer World Series baseball cards are horizontally oriented and feature the artwork of Robert Laughlin and a short essay in blue print on the back. The 1970 Fleer World Series Baseball Card Set were so popular that Fleer produced it again in 1971, with new cartoon illustrations. The easiest way to tell the two sets apart is the 1970 Fleer World Series cards have blue words on the back of the cards, while the 1971 cards use black print.
