This 1948 Bowman Complete Set contains all 48 cards. The cards measure 2 1/16" by 2" and contain a black & white photo.  This was Bowman's first attempt at a national issue, after the war and it has some interesting curiosities.  Over a half of the 1948 Bowman Baseball cards feature players from one of the New York area based teams, and since it was the first baseball set issued in seven years, every card is a rookie card.
