This 1962 Topps Baseball Green Tint Starter Set contains many of the 87 Green Tint Variation cards of the 1962 Topps Baseball Card Set.  These cards span from cards #110 to #196.  The 1962 Topps "Green Tint" cards were printed in smaller numbers and sell for a premium compared to 1962 Topps second series cards, with normal tinting.  This is a great way to get a jump on building a 1962 Topps Master Set.
By the time that Topps realized that the sales of the 1962 Series would surpass expectations, the company printing the cards had moved on to the third series.  Topps commissioned a different printer to produce more third series cards from the same printing plates.  As result, the pictures on the cards were cropped slightly different and given a green tint.  A couple of the printing plates were damaged in transit and had to be replaced, which accounts for why there are two (sometimes very different looking) versions of the cards in the second series.
