This is a 1981-82 Topps Basketball Almost Complete Master Set, and contains nearly all 198 cards that were issued this year.  This set is unique as Topps issued cards in a 66 card National issue, and then three different regional issues that comprised the last 44 cards from the set.  This means that collectors will receive different cards based on their location, as someone from Chicago will receive a different set than someone from Los Angeles.  These regional issues came out as Midwest, the West, and the East, and this set contains cards from each regional issue.
The 1981-1982 Topps Basketball Set contains Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Dr. J (Julius Erving), Moses Malone, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and rookie cards of Kevin McHale and Bill Laimbeer.
