1910 T210-8 Old Mill Southern League Series 8 Baseball Cards
This minor league baseball card set has never been a favorite of collectors because of the size of the set. With 640 baseball cards, it is the largest tobacco set of the 20th Century. Shoeless Joe Jackson is the most valuable card in the set and the hardest to acquire. The cards measure 1 1/2" x 2 5/8" and feature a glossy black and white photo with a distinctive red border. It is usually described as the Red Border set. A printing change created an attractive T210 variation where the borders are orange instead of red. It is believed this occurred when the red ink ran out, and they only appear in the Series 3 cards.
