The 2000 Topps Baseball Card Set contains 478 standard size cards that were released in two series. The subsets for the 2000 Topps baseball cards are: Prospects (201-208 & 441-448), Draft Picks (209-220 & 449-455),Season Highlights (217-221 & 456-460), Post Season Highlights (222-228), 20th Century's Best (229-235 & 468-474) and League Leaders (461-467) and Magic Moments (236-240 & 475-479).
The Magic Moment cards feature 10 of the best players in the game, and have a possible 5 variations for each player, each highlighting a milestone in his career. A standard complete set contains one variation for each player. The key Rookie Cards in the 2000 Topps set are:#203 Alfonso Soriano, #207 Lance Berkman, #446 C. C. Sabathia and #451 Barry Zito.
