1912 T207 Reprint
The
1912 T207 REPRINT baseball card set is a creation of Dean's Cards. Just like
the "brown background" originals produced by the American
Tobacco Company, the set consists of 200 cards that measure 1½" by
2-5/8". This Dean's Cards produced reprint set covers all the bases of the
original set, including the Broadleaf, Cycle, Recruit, Napoleon and
Red Cross back variations as well as the many other variations in the set like
differences in cap color to mislabeled card backs. We also added numbers
to the cards, which allows for easier sorting.
The T207 set contains 13 players who were
inducted into the Baseball's Hall-of-Fame, including Roger Bresnahan, Walter
Johnson, Max Carey, Tris Speaker, Frank Chance, John McGraw, Bill McKechnie,
Harry Hooper, Chief Bender, Bobby Wallace, Zach Wheat and Joe Tinker.
Also included are Eddie Cicotte and Buck Weaver, who were infamously
banned from the game in the 1919 Black Sox scandal. This set also has
cards with the impossible to find "Red Cross" backs and rare Irving
Lewis, Lewis Lowdermilk, Ward Miller, Vic Saier and Lefty Tyler cards,
which sell for thousands of dollars a piece - that is if you can find them.
