The 1921 W516-2-1 Set contains 30 cards which each measure approximately 1 1/2" by 2 3/8". These blank backed cards feature an artist rendition of the player on the front of the card along with their position. This set is also chock full of Hall-of-Fame players such as Ty Cobb, Tris Speaker, and Babe Ruth to name a few. These cards were originally hand cut from larger strips, which makes attaining these cards in high grades very difficult.
These cards are very similar to those in the 1921 W516-2-2 Set, as the images of the players are the same, with the lettering including the player's name and position being the only differentiating factor. Cards from the W516-2-1 set have that appears to have been typed, while cards from the W516-2-2 set have what appears to be a more handwritten font.
