1928 Tharp's Ice Cream Baseball Cards
The 1928 Tharp's Ice Cream Baseball Card set contains 60 cards each measuring 1 3/8" by 2 1/2". Due to their similar appearance, these cards can be easily confused with cards from the E210 or W502 sets.
In addition, 3 other regional ice cream and candy companies: Harrington, Sweetman, and Yuengling, also produced these same cards, with the only variance being the different company mentioned on the back of the cards. This set is full of Hall of Fame players, including notable cards from Babe Ruth, Rogers Hornsby, Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb, and Tris Speaker.
